Kansas City, Kansas -- where is that? Right smack dab in the middle of the country, that's where. I think it's pretty cool that Google chose the very center of the country to test their first
experimental, ultra high-speed broadband network. The Google team mentioned that easy access to the city officials was one of the deciding points. Some of the people I went to high school with are the people who are now running the city - so I'm not surprised that they were awarded the experiment. They grow 'em smart where I came from. :-) This should help the city be able to keep some of those smarts in town! Best of luck to everyone!
